The Komfort Fit From Above Double Grooved Plated System is designed to be used with suspended joists or raised batten floors, where the aluminium diffusion plate is fitted directly on the top of floor joists at 400mm centres. Each plate is 1000mm long and has two preformed groves at 200mm pipe centres in which to carry the heating pipe. Insulation should be fitted beneath the plate to reduced downward heat loss. The flooring is fixed as normal directly on to the plates to the joists.

The Komfort Double Groove Spreader Plates are designed for timber suspended floors (joists). Made from high-quality aluminium (1000 x 390 mm, 0.5mm thick), they suit pipes from 15-17mm diameter. Featuring twin omega-shaped grooves at 200mm centres, they securely hold pipes for even heat distribution.

Each plate covers approx. 0.5m², ideal for suspended floors on joists or battens at 400mm centres. Easy to install with nails, screws, or staples, they provide efficient, homogeneous heat transfer, delivering 77W/m² at 20°C room temp. Designed for durability and optimal performance, Komfort spreader plates ensure reliable, even heating under wooden floors.

It is advisable to leave approximately one inch of space between the bottom of the spreader plate groove and the insulation to facilitate airflow.
