20 Triple Groove 150mm Cntrs Diffusion Plates 390 x 1000 x 0.5mm – UFH Spreader Plates

Aluminium UFH Triple Spreader Plates dimension are 1000 x 390 mm to suit underfloor heating  pipes from 15, 16 & 17 mm in diameter, each aluminium spreader plate has  triple preformed groves for pipes at 150 mm centres.

These triple groove aluminium underfloor heating spreader plates has an omega shape grove to hold the pipe secure unlike a straight U channel UFH spreader plates.

Each water underfloor heating aluminium spreader plate will cover an effective heated floor area of 0.5 m² .

The UFH triple grove spreader plates are suitable for suspended floor systems and are fitted on top of floor joists or battens at the standard 400mm centres (should the joist spaces vary this can be usually overcome on site).
The triple groove ufh spreader plates have preformed channels with pipe centres of 150 mm, the underfloor heating triple grove spreader plate can be nailed, screwed or stapled onto the top of the floor joist or floor batten.

The metal aluminium underfloor heating 3 channel spreader plates are one of the most effective ways by giving a homogeneous heat transfer to the underside of wooden floor – floor boards.

With aluminium like most metals it makes an excellent heat conductor and transfers the heat efficiently to the underside of the floor board.

The aluminium underfloor heating triple grove spreader plates will give the UFH heat output of 77 watts per m² at room temperature 20°C. with a floor temperature of 27°C. Any variation on either the these temperatures this will vary the heat output ( /-) from the underfloor heating system.

We recommend that the triple channel ufh spreader plate sits tightly beneath the floorboards giving direct contact which will offer the maximum heat transfer from your water underfloor heating system in to the floor. Insulation should be fitted directly beneath the underfloor heating spreader plate.
