Floor Finishes/Coverings Guide
LVT – Install the mat securely, floor probe must be installed to avoid over heating or damaging the floor covering. Then pour a 10mm layer of self levelling compound over the entire area being heated (suitable for underfloor heating), once set, you can then lay the floor covering.
Tiles – Install the mat securely, floor probe must be installed to avoid over heating or damaging the floor covering. Then apply a 4mm bed of tile adhesive over the entire area being heated (suitable for underfloor heating), and then lay the tiles.
Wooden – We recommend installing a 6mm or 10mm high density insulation or tile backer board to prevent heat loss.
