Introducing the Wavin 16mm x 2mm 5 Layer Barrier Pipe underfloor heating pipe is made from a special PE (Polyethylene) material. The pipe consists of five layers with an internal oxygen barrier placed in the centre of the pipe wall. This location of the barrier ensures that the pipe is well protected against physical damage, providing a longer service life. Please see technical information below.

Wavin Pro5 16mm x 2mm 5 Layer Barrier Pipe underfloor heating pipe follows a globally accepted protective construction, with an inner and outer layer of PE-RT (Polyethylene of Raised Temperature) and an EVOH (Ethylene Vinyl-Alcohol Resin) middle layer. The EVOH layer prevents oxygen penetration in a heating system, reducing corrosion within the system and minimizing premature failure of system components.
