Our polyethylene (PERT) pipe is manufactured by a leading pipe manufacturer. The Komfort Underfloor Heating pipes are produced according to international standards ASTM F-1282 and accompanied by a certified SKZ for their mechanical strength and fully insured 10 years manufacturer’s warranty 2.000.000 CHF (Swiss francs).
50 years warranty and 10 years guarantee against manufacturing defects.

The Komfort Pert pipes are made from high-quality materials, together with the ultra-flexibility make it extremely easy to work with, with its construction being Polyethylene Raised Temperature Resistance (PE-RT) on the inner layer with polymer adhesive layer on to the EVOH layer (vinyl alcohol) this being the Oxygen barrier, followed by another polymer adhesive layer bonding the EVOH and outer protective PE-RT Layer.

All Komfort Pert pipes have five layers, using PE-RT technology that is manufactured to our own specification and composed of five bonded layers meeting the necessary standard required to avoid any risk of oxygen permeability.

With the oxygen barrier being protected from mechanical damage within the middle of the pipe wall thickness making all Komfort Pipes far-superior to any 3-layer pipes on the market with the oxygen barrier on the outside of the pipe, should this layer get mechanically damaged there is a risk of no protection against oxygen ingress into the heating system.

Why is the oxygen barrier important, the reason for having the oxygen barrier to eliminate the risk of the corrosion of any ferrous metals, such as the pump boiler, etc. there is also a risk of the accumulated pockets of air traveling back to the boiler and creating steam or even super steam inside the system which would damage the underfloor heating pipes.
